To help ensure residents can get to/from home while avoiding baseball egress traffic, the City will be mailing each residential address within the road closure area two Resident Access Passes that will allow residents to bypass these select road closures:
- 3rd Street southbound between G Street and Cabaldon Parkway
- South River Road northbound at 15th Street
The following road closures will be in effect for all vehicles, including residents, to safely facilitate baseball egress traffic and pedestrians:
- Cabaldon Parkway eastbound between 5th Street and 3rd Street/Riverfront Street
- Riverfront Street southbound between Cabaldon Parkway and Ballpark Drive
- 5th Street southbound between Cabaldon Parkway and Ballpark Drive
Recommended routes for Bridge District residents:
- Option 1: From the East, North, South (e.g. Sacramento), take US 50 WB off-ramp → 5th Street → Mill Street → Riverfront Street
- Option 2: From the West (e.g. West Sacramento, Davis), take US 50 EB off-ramp → Jefferson Blvd → 15th Street → South River Road → Mill Street → Riverfront Street.
How to Use Your Pass:
- When you reach a resident-allowed road closure, present your pass to the traffic control officer.
- The officer may allow you to proceed through the select closure.
- For public safety, vehicles without a valid pass will not be permitted to bypass road closures.
This pass only allows access through select road closures to reach your residence. It does not grant any additional privileges, including parking privileges.
If you need additional passes, please contact the City at (916) 617-5016 or email parking@vincentnavarro.net.
Special Event Parking Rate
To reduce traffic and parking congestion, special event parking rates will apply during all games. A $39 special event rate applies two hours before an event through the end of the event for on-street parking transactions exceeding two hours.
5th & Bridge Lot
To prevent unauthorized event parking, the 5th & Bridge Lot will have a security officer on-site.
